Welcome to all new and returning students in September 2011. We will be at the Freshers Fayre on Tuesday 20th September where we will be happy to talk to you about our club. You can join on the day or online. The first class is free. Just bring some loose comfortable clothing. The annual joining fee is £10 which includes your first month of classes.

Students of Shaolin Gaocan Mun Nam Pai Chuan learn numerous techniques, including traditional stances and footwork, evasive movement, various hand and leg techniques including blocking, punching, kicking and sweeping techniques, locking (Chin Na), throwing and nerve-point strikes (Dim Mak).

Students also learn paired applications and sequences to develop an understanding of distance, control, accuracy and movement. When competent at these techniques students will then learn how to spar (paired fighting) to develop and demonstrate an understanding of free movement, evasion, counter-striking, focus and spirit.
